The Dragon’s Nest is a home for mahjong in the South Bay of Los Angeles: a place to learn, to play, and to belong, a few blocks from the sand.
The name
Why the Dragon’s Nest?
In mahjong, the dragons are among the most prized tiles on the table. A nest is where something precious is kept safe and where things begin.
Put them together and you have what we set out to build: a warm, welcoming spot where the game is treasured and friendships take shape around it. Our socials pair great play with great company and prizes worth playing for. Our league adds a season of friendly rivalry, from El Segundo down the coast to Palos Verdes.
